Secure Boot
The actual version of True Image 2013+ (April 2013) still causes a
"Secure Boot: Image failed to verify with *ACCESS DENIED*".
How do I get rid of this?

And then what? Or do you suggest a permanent change?
As far as I understood the current version is supposed to be compatible with secure boot. Or did that apply only to the Bootloader?

Ignore this post, answer found in OPs original post.

Are you using the rescue media based on winpe 4.0? It's 32 bit, so won't work with Secure boot. Try to create the linux version and it should be working.
Edit: just realized that the linux boot cd won't work either if your disk is GPT. build 6514 won't see GPT disks so there is no way you can back up your drive.
Conclusion: Either way, it's not working.

To see GPT disks in the recovery environment, the Plus Pack is required.
See James' reply.

Colin, GPT disks are supported in the standard version of 2013. Dynamic disk support requires the Plus Pack.

Did you test if the recovery media (build 6514) by yourself to see if you can see any GPT? Acronis engineer already confirmed this not-be-able-to-see-GPT bug. It appears the OP is using recovery media. So yes, in theory, there is no reason ATI won't support GPT, however, in build 6514 recovery media, ironically, it really does not. I suggest you test it by yourself before give some info that is not accurate.

Sorry if I wasn't clear enough. I am using build 6514 with the Plus Pack. I can backup the SSD of the Ultrabook with all partitions. I am not yet familiar with GPT, UEFI, Dynamic disks or Secure Boot. But there is an "EFI System Partition" on the SSD.
I don't remember what I actually did that required a (unsuccessful) reboot. I haven't yet tried to build a rescue medium leave alone to try to boot one.
The first step I am trying to find out about: What is TI trying to boot and how can I get rid of the error message. There probably is some value in "Secure Boot", therefore disabling it permanently does not appear as a first best choice.

Oskar,
Very few functions of ATI require a reboot: a clone, or a restore of an image containing a system.
The thing you have to do is to create your recovery medium and boot the computer on it. I am able to boot on the Linux-based version (the one you create with ATI in Windows) without any problem on a GPT/UEFI/Secure boot system.

Yeah just saw that the OP did system backup/restore from within windows.
I was able to do the same (create a linux recovery media within ATI in windows). Then what, did you try to do a backup and could you see you GPT disk? I bet you won't be able to see the GPT.
I'd suggest everyone who use GPT disk just ditch build 6514 and wait for Acronis to come up with a fix to this stupid not-see-GTP bug in the recovery media.

Thanks for all the comments. The error message disappeared after a BIOS update.
Thanks Min Jia for pointing out the not-see-GPT bug. The Recovery Medium works but is completely useless since I can't see the destination GPT disk for a restore. :-(((
Maybe I should ask the money back for the Plus Pack.
