"Spefied file does not exists" ??

Thread needs solution

I'm struggling like hell to get Acronis 2015 to work :(

I use two external disks that I rotate. When it's rotated, I format the disk.

When I add a new disk Acronis 2015 says: "The specified file does not exists. Click Retry to try to read from the same location. To create a new version according to the current backup scheme, click Cancel".

Why can't Acronis 2015 just make a initial full backup (when it sees a new drive) and then increment aftwards? It's like Acronis just won't continue if it can't see the file on the other disk.

Acronis 2015 drives me crazy and boy I'm not happy about the new interface. :(

Thanks

I experienced exactly this on my Windows 8.1 (Update) 64-bit GPT system. I could also not get nonstop backup to work. I was unable to resolve these issues and have now uninstalled TI2015 and gone back to TI2014 which works "as designed".
