In a split second.... all my data gone thanks to Acronis!

Thread needs solution

I have been looking for a backup software product to make daily saves of my files on a NAS. My notebook (a Lenovo Y570) is running under Windows 7 Home Premium which has limited capabilities in that respect (it would back up to local or USB destinations only), so I decided to give Acronis True Image Home 2012 a try. While the trial version was installing, my machine crashed with a blue screen of death... And it won't boot again due to "No Bootable Device"....
TIH2012 must have done something to my Y570's HDD+SDD combined drive (called RapidDrive by Lenovo), and nobody seems to know how to fix it. I have opened a case with Acronis tech support and had a chat with them but that didn't go any further then trying to convince me that all I had to do to fix it was load the Windows in the safe mode or boot from a Windows CD.
If anyone from Acronis is reading this, rather than boasting a 100% compatability with all SSD products, you should put it on your site in big red letters: Do Not Install TIH2012 on Lenovo Notebooks with RapidDrives or you are going to lose all that precious data that you're trying to protect.
I have no words.... Just imaging losing your gigabytes of valuable programs and personal files ... because you trusted that advert on Acronis' front page...

P.S. It appears I am neither the first nor the only one with this problem: http://forum.acronis.com/forum/25729
