SSD Error Preventing Image Backup

Thread needs solution

Hi All

Running True Image 2012. I started getting an error message on my Image Backup. File backup is working fine and have had no system issues.

Drive is Corsair SSD 64 gig. Backups were fine for months - problem started right before end of year and I did not catch it right away and deleted last valid backup. All my data is backed up so I could reformat hd but would be a good day's work to reinstall all my programs and settings. If I could get one good backup then could reformat and recover. Any suggestions appreciated.

I have attached the Acronis report

I get two error messages.

First:

Failed to read data from the disk.

Hi Bob,

Lets start with this:

Error Messages

I also recommend that you perform a chkdsk /r on the drive in question in order to confirm health and file system integrity.

Thanks - repair install allowed me to do image backup even though I still get snapshot error

Bob,
Thanks for posting your follow up. Please perform a chkdsk /r on the drive and retest. If the error message reappears, I would uninstall the program, run the clean up utility and reinstall.
