Struggling to boot an ATI 2012 image in VMware 9
Thread needs solution
I've read lots of guides and so far none have worked for me.
I have made an image of a Windows Vista x86 machine using ATI 2012. I need to boot this machine within VMWare 9. I have tried two methods:
1) Use various tools to convert the .tib file into something VMWare 9 can cope with. All file formats have so far proved to be incompatible with VMWare 9
2) Create a Virtual machine and then mount an ISO image of ATI to restore the .tib file into the virtual machine. This looked really good right up to the point that ATI informed me that it did not support virtual disks and then stopped working.
Please can someone help me with a method that just works :-)
