Sync Agent - Another name for Ransom Ware? Malware? Trojans?

Thread needs solution

No matter what I try, no matter where I look in the 2014, I can't make the Sync Agent auto-start GO AWAY!

I signed in 1 TIME and now, it signs me in EVERY TIME! I can't make it stop!

EVERY TIME a lunch TI 2014, it signs me in. EVERY TIME I restart my computer it launches the Sync Agent.

HELP - - - - I CAN'T MAKE IT STOP!

And, don't tell me I'll have to un-install then re-install, it is EXTREMELY likely that Acronis has buried some other Registry entries that'll maintain the process.

I try to cancel the job that executes the Sync Agent using MS utilities (Process Explorer and AutoRuns) yet they ALWAYS COME BACK - I CAN'T MAKE THEM STOP! Sometimes even when I delete a specific job from executing at the service level (Process Explorer) the job will just restart or WILL NOT END.

I never dreamed that Acronis would be in the business of producing Malware, Ransom Ware and Trojans. If a solution is not found soon, I shall be FORCED to find another option for my Backup Needs.

Go into Window Services and you can both stop and disable the sync agent service;
and, if not using nonstop backup, you can stop and disable that service as well.

"Go into Window Services and you can both stop and disable the sync ag"

Followed instructions, another error windows will pop up...yikes

You forgot to say what the new error Window says. Make sure you log out (top right of the main GUI) so that the sync service isn't called.
