sync agent will not play nice with MSE

I have just spent days trying to figure out why the malware agent for MSE has been taking up nearly 25% of my processor time. Finally discovered that it was constantly accessing syncagent.log, under your programdata folder.

I have disabled the sync agent, and the MSE problem has gone away.

Now, is disabling this going to prevent True Image from working? I am not trying to sync anything. I just want to do my daily image backups - see other thread, please. I am just about ready to slap my money on the table, so to speak, since the program works *much* better than the last version I tried. I do need to make sure that I can still perform my backups without syncagent, though.
