"System State Alert" message

Thread needs solution

I'm using TI Home 11 and recently restored my hard drive after my main drive failed. After running a small backup routine of some data files, the "System State" banner that appears on starting TI is giving me the red alert...."Last attempt to backup...completed with errors", even though the usual Information box at the end of the backup said Operation Successful . My log and the "Result" shown on my Scheduled Task page says Completed Successfully. I've repeated this several times with the same result. The validation also was successful. In the past, the "System State" message would be green and agree with the log following a successful BU. Any ideas?? I want to ensure the BU was in fact, successful.

If the validation is successful and the backup contains the desired data, I think you can safely ignore the warning. The "System State Alert" status in TI 11 was often wrong. I never paid any attention to it.

Sometimes a warning in the log will trigger an alert even if it finished successfully. Were any errors or warnings reported in the log?

I see a warning about Priority Changed to High Priority. I believe It's been set on High for quite a while and the warning usually shows in the log, but the Alert on red is new. I'll try changing it back to normal priority. Thanks..

Hello,

MudCrab, thanks for your help.

James, let me assist you.

To overcome the issue I may suggest you to delete all existing tasks and then create a new ones. As MudCrab mentioned, most likely this is a minor GUI issue and it shouldn't anyhow affect the main program functionality.

Please also note that only running the scheduled backups affects the Traffic light color and system state. If you launch the Create Backup Wizard manually and perform an unscheduled backup, the Traffic light color and system state will not change. The color will not change if you schedule a "One time only" backup task.

Please reply to this thread if you have any additional question.

Thank you.
