As Tatoo said to Mr. Rourke "Da Pain, Da Pain!"

I have been a loyal customer of Acronis True Image for several iterations... I just keep waiting for it to finally do the amazing and the unbelievable - WORK AS EXPECTED!

Hasn't happened yet, and hugely disappointed. Latest strange quirks... even though neither backups NOR validations are "scheduled" to run on ANY of my 6 pcs... they somehow manage to fire up my network attached storage device and cause said device to flicker... IOW, Acronis is running when I -absolutely- do NOT want it to.

SUGGESTION: Put a trigger switch into ATI2014 that the user can tick off that says "NEVER EVER RUN, NEVER EVER VALIDATE, NEVER EVER DO ANYTHING AT ALL unless -I- the user command it! In other words, "SUPER-MANUAL-MODE".

Sounds stupid doesn't it? You'd THINK someone would fix this program so that if it had NO SCHEDULED RUN TIMES, a backup would NEVER run under ANY conditions.

Can't be that difficult? IT IS.

Please Acronis... let's make this thing less of a beast and more bulletproof?
