Temp Files Not removed

I noted what appear to be multiple temporary files after a file recovery operation that terminated abnormally.

I subsequently ran the recovery operation successfully, but have about 9,500 files in various folders with names like :

fileName.ext~6ED5QL0H

These are located in the same folder as the original

fileName.ext

Are these temporary files generated during the Acronis File Backup/Restore operations?

Can I delete them?

I guess there's no tech support that can answer this question. I must say I'm disappointed by the lack of support. Pre-purchase, it took 10-11 days for responses to technical questions. On this board, there's been no response to either this posting, or a previous, similar one.

I wish I had known this before I purchased Acronis for my personal use, prior to recommending it to my company. Oh well, at least the company won't be making the same mistake.
