Is there a way to automatically validate all new .tib files in a directory every day?
Maybe this isn't specific to True Image Home or any particular version, I don't know, but TIH is what I use to create my backups so this is where I'll start. I've searched far and wide and can't seem to find an answer to this.
What I'd like to do is have my file server do the .tib validating, instead of having my client boxes validate as they create their backups. I'd like to do this to reduce backup time and network traffic. It's getting to where I can't get all the boxes backed up overnight.
I know how to do this manually, but I'd like to do it automatically scheduled.
I realize TIH can create and schedule validation tasks, but setting up one of those tasks requires a static file name, and I need that file name to change every day.
It could even be some kind of a command line program that I could run once a day from the Windows task scheduler. For those of you familiar with DOS commands, the equivalent of:
for %a in (*@date@.tib) do validate %a
Where "validate" is the command line utility. I'd schedule this to run every day, after all the boxes had completed their overnight backups.
In the ideal world, "validate" would also send an email notification for every file it validated.
Is this possible? Or is there some other way to accomplish it?
The clients are a mix of XP and W7 running TIH 10. The server is W7. Reason I'm still on 10, it's been working fine for me, for years, and I've never felt a compelling need to update it. But if I have to update to get this feature, that would be OK. I'm not averse to updating if there's some tangible benefit, and this would definitely qualify.
There's got to be a way to do this. It just seems tremendously more logical to do the validation on the server, where it's a local operation, rather than on the client, where it has to use the network. I can't be the only one to recognize this. Someone must have figured out how to do it by now.

Thanks for the response.
My server is not running a server OS, it's running W7 Ultimate 64-bit. I'm just using it as a file server - which by the way, had it's own set of challenges - but I seem to have resolved those via registry tweaks.
As far as needing a business class Acronis product, I'm certainly not averse to buying something new to make this work. If there's a product available that will do it for me, I'll surely take a look at it, and if it's priced reasonably, I'll buy it.
I just have to believe that other people have also recognized the value in a server based validation, as opposed to having the clients do it as part of the backup task, and have figured out a solution. I can't be the only one to have this need.
Thanks again.

You may want to reach out to customer service / technical support to see if one of the other products can do this. I believe that Backup 11.7 may meet your needs, but I'm not very familiar with that particular product. However it is designed to have a single management interface where the clients app is the connection part, but the interface is where all of the other tasks take place. Hopefully customer support could answer those specific questions though.
