Thoughts on TI Home 2009 and Windows 7. And 1 question

Thread needs solution

I've been running TI Home 2009 on Windows 7 for a few weeks now and I have no significant problems to report. I only use TI for full backups and it has performed exactly as it did in Vista. I have heard about other issues, and maybe in the coming months I will experience some too. But for the moment, things are good.

I have a quick question. I kept a backup image of my Vista setup as well as recent W7 backups. When I look at my backups in the Backup and Restore window, I notice that my W7 backups have been given 3 stars out of 5 in the Rating column. But my Vista backup has only 1 star. What are these star ratings for and why does my Vista backup rate low compared to my W7 backup?

The star ratings are for your own personal use. You can change the rating on any of your backup archives to however many stars you want, or you can ignore the star rating entirely. The feature is analogous to rating songs in a media player application.

Pay no attention to them. It's another feature in the "bells and whistles" category.

I see. What an utterly useless function. I will continue to ignore it. Thanks for the help guys.
