Three products bought, zero questions answered on clone problem!

Thread needs solution

I have version from 2013 and downloaded the 2015 to clone to my western digital hard drive.

The problem is When I clone the original hard drive to the new one, the recovery partition on the new drive is now full.

The old drive has 750 gigs free and the restore partition has 23 gigs free.

The new drive has 750 fifty gigs free and the recovery recovery/factory restore partition is now full. I keep getting your low on space on the recovery drive. phone calls are un answered.

Is there a solution to this problem? is there a program to increase the size on the recovery partition that I don't have to spend more money on after buying three of Acronis products?

Thank you

When you clone on automatic to a disk of a different size, ATI will try to optimize the scaling of the original partitions to the new disk. The automatic settings can create issues with certain partitions.
You can use a free tool like EASUS partition manager to move, adjust your partitions after the fact. Or you can clone manually to control the size of each partition.
When the recovery partition is at the end of the disk, the resizing of the partitions before can create issues with the boot records and render the OEM recovery partition inoperable. This can be fixed later. Another thing you can do is to keep a full disk image of the original disk for safekeeping in case you ever need the original recovery partition.
