TI Home 2010 - No bootable media and bad support in Dutch

Thread needs solution

I've used Acronis Products for years in English an German language. Recently I had to find a backup-solution for a system running the Dutch version of Windows 7 32bit. So I didn't hesitate to buy TI 2010 Home in Dutch.

But I've got a lot of problems with it, for example high CPU-utilization, keyboard/mouse not reacting anymore etc. The problems went away when I uninstalled TI. I thought it was a good idea to install the latest build and give it another try. What I see is that in English and German build #7046 is available since April 1, 2010. In Dutch only build# 5092 from December 9, 2009 is available.

Is it really so hard to do a Dutch version? The German update appeared the same day as the English one. Why shouldn't this be possible for the Dutch one, too? Why does Acronis issue language-dependent serials anyway? The good way would be one version only in which you can switch languages. Even many freeware programs can do that.

It's not only the missing update - it's also that for the Dutch version there is no "Bootable Media" to download (in your customer-account). So it seems Acronis want to make money with the Dutch speaking people but don't really care about them afterwards. I'd be glad to hear and see the proof that I'm wrong.

Kind regards,

Matthias

Hello Matthias,

We're really sorry for the difficulties you've experienced with our software.

You see, it takes some time to localize the software to another language.

Bootable media was uploaded only for the English versions of Acronis True image.

Please send me a Private Message if you want to replace your Dutch version of the software with a German/English one.

I'm looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience.

Thank you.
