TI2013 failed to open backup but I think all is OK

Thread needs solution

I just installed 2013 as an upgrade along with the plus pack. Now I'm attempting to run a previous profile which is a full BU of my 180GB SSD to a hardware RAID 5 which currently has about 600GB of free space. The progress bar indicates that I have about 1 minute remaining and I get a failure "Failed to open backup followed by a file name. The file that it is trying to open was created 2012-05-20 and should not be available. I've been running as a scheduled BU a full BU nightly and I'm suppose to only keep 10 versions. In the folder it looks like (1) TI has not been deleting the versions older than 10 and the file TI wants to open does not exist.
I clicked cancel and then TI attempted to open another file that does not exist. Again I clicked cancel and it ran for about a minute only to attempt to open another file that does not exist.
Looking at the folder that contains my BUs it looks like TI is deleting the old files, this is good. I don't know why the old backups older than v10 are in the folder. When the BU started there were about 70 files in the folder. More older files are being deleted, this is good and it appears that TI will take several minutes to clean up the folder.
When I started the BU there was just over 600GB of free space in the 9TB RAID, I just checked - I now see only 10 full BUs (this is as it should be) and I now have 3.8TB of free space.

Wow - I'm impressed!
