.tib to .vhd -> Failure

Welcome to our Forum, we're glad to greet you here! I completely understand your concern and will be glad to assist you.

It is difficult to identify the exact cause of the issue due to the lack of sufficient investigation information, but usually this error points onto the  the error on your hard drive. It's not related to physical corruption (such as bad blocks) and can be fixed by means of chkdsk command.

Could you please do the following:

1. Validate the backup created to make sure it is not corrupted (see chapter 9.4.2.6, p.83 in the User's Guide)
2. On the image source machine go to Start -> Search -> cmd and press Enter
   This will take you to the Command line. There issue the following command:
   chkdsk /f /r
   and reboot the machine

This will ensure us that the archive is valid and there are not issues with the hard drive. Should the archive be reported as corrupted, run chkdsk command and recreate the backup.

This should help to resolve the issue. In case the problem persists, please gather the following information:

1. Screenshot of the error
2. Acronis Info from the machine in question
