TIH 2010 hangs at Start for Restoring Operation

Thread needs solution

I have a new Acer AS3810TZ Notebook and i had Vista Business 64Bit installed. Everything works fine, but i wanted to try Windows 7. So i made a Backup with Acronis True Image 10. But Windows 7 is not what i want, so i wanted to step back to my image. But i realized in the Restoration Process that TI10 doesn't recognize SATA HDDs so i made the Upgrade to TIH2010. But now, TIH2010 hangs after Reboot when i start the Restoration of the Systempartition. Its the same, even when i start with the TIH2010 System Backup CD.

What is wrong? Is it maybe a Problem of Hardware Recognization with TIH2010?

I used the newest Version of TIH2010.

regards,
Tobias

Hello Tobias,

We will do our best to solve the issue you experience.

Please download ISO image from your account under Registered Products and create Acronis bootable disc using third-party software. ISO image is based on different loader which has more embedded drivers, it will certainly solve the issue you experience. If not please let us know.

Where is this "ISO image" thing? I go to my registered products page, but there's nothing about an ISO image there . . . help!

Hello all,

Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

Christopher, I'll definitely help you with the issue.

The thing is that there are no ISO images for Acronis True Image 10 Home that can be downloaded from customer's accounts. I have sent you a Private Message with a download link to that ISO image.

Pleas burn it, boot off your PC and check if the issue still persists.

Thank you.
