TIH 2011 Non-Stop Backup suddenly stops to work and can't be restarted

Thread needs solution

I started with non-stop backup with TIH 2011 #5105. Worked fine so far for some weeks. It could be paused and restarted on demand. The i/o is optimized. I have 2 disk forming a RAID0 for performance. I have one single big disk (1.5 TB) to store the backup.

Then of all sudden non-stop backup stopped working with 2011 #5105. Hitting the pause and start button or reboots do not solve this situation. Also not reboots.

My system is absolutely not loaded and also disk-space is no issue, there are still 300 GB from 1.5 TB left on the NTFS. OS: Win7 64 Bit, 4 GB DRAM, Intel i7 @2.8 Ghz, 4 cores, 8 threads.

I deceided to upgrade to TIH 2011 #5519. No change.

But #5519 introduces another evil thing. It has a real braindamaged hardcoded restart compiled in. Every second it tries to restart the failed non-stop backup over hours if not days until it decides its ehough to give up. Very BAD is, you can't pause it. Its hardcoded :-/

So you have to live with an appearing and disappearing Acronis miniicon, which drives you nuts, especially as it perfectly hinders you hitting other required mini icons, as the position of these changes with the instantly upcoming and vanishing icon.

Acronis, when do you start coding in quality ?! Its disgusting to chase errors for half a year, getting then a half baken version for the rest of the year and afterwards buying the next faulty product. I am in this cycle now since about 3 years :-/
