TIH 2012 Update 2 Build 7119 STARTUP RECOVBERY MANAGER

Thread needs solution

After installing this build atop the original release when I go to tools/ASRM, it only offers to DEACTIVATE it.

Has this tool been updated? If so, how do I employ it?

I'd uninstall completely (use the cleaner) and reinstall the build. I'd try this anytime an upgrade goes wonky -- it often solves the problem.

Have a backup and a bootCD before upgrading so, worst case, you can always go back to where you were.

In the future, if you are going to update, I'd deactivate the asrm before installing the upgrade, then activate after updating.

Thanks for your reply. Since this seems to be such a small issue, I think I'll deactivate, reboot, then reactive the recovery manager.
