Toshiba Satellite C850 Will Not Boot From ATI2013 Recovery Media

Hi, I have produced recovery media ( usb and cd ) using the recovery media creator in ATI2013, both of which used to boot the machine no problems, until my latest test.

Now, in both cases the boot hangs almost immediatley ( when media is inserted ), even though secure boot is disabled in bios.

I was just wondering if anyone was aware of any other issues with this hardware / software combination?

Boot sequence is set to USB/CD/HDD, bios is V6.70 ATI is build 6514.

Windows 8 64bit

Any pointers appreciated.
