Transferring ATIH2011 From One Computer to a New One
I want to transfer ATIH2011 from an old computer to a new one. How do I accomplish this?

Pat,
Your response was a little too simple for me.
I can uninstall the software from the old computer. However, "Reinstall it on the other one" leaves me adrift.
If I download the ATI2011 installation program onto the new machine, and execute it, I am asked for the registration number of the original ATI2011 registration. Then, it asks me for the registration number for the version I am trying to upgrade. I am not trying to upgrade anything. I just want to transfer the license of ATI2011 from the old computer to the new one, and install the software.
What am I missing?

It looks like you have installed an upgrade version.
Did you buy an upgrade when you acquired 2011? It seems like it is the case, since it is asking for a license number of an existing version.

If I remember correctly, I bought, downloaded and installed an upgrade from ATI2010

That makes sense. Hopefully you have registered your copy of ATI 2010 and you can see your license number on your ACronis.com account. If not, and you cannot find your 2010 license number, contact Acronis support.

As Pat L says, your situation Claire is completely normal. When you purchase an Upgrade, in your case an upgrade from 2010, upon installation you'll be asked for the original license number for the original full product purchase you made.
In my case I've had to reinstall 2010, which was an upgrade from full ATI11. So I had to lookup the ATI11 license when I reinstalled 2010, which of course has its own license.

Thanks everybody. I tracked down my ATI2010 license number and was able to complete the ATI2011 transfer. Everything is working fine now, and in the right computer.
