Transposed Version Number

Thread needs solution

I had some bad luck and removed a drive without using the icon (I don't think there was a light on ) and also did an improper shutdown.  Now I'm a bit concerned.

When I choose backup and cancel on my newest account the version number 16 is transposed along with the last save date from another account.

I rebooted the system and when I redo the sequence it does the same thing.

Does anyone no what's going on?

And is there any way to know if the drive and backups are still okay?

Thank you,

JoshuaE

Joshua, welcome to these user forums.

Sorry but I am not sure that I understand the problem you are describing here, and need more information to set this in context?

What version of Acronis True Image is involved in this problem?
What version of Windows OS are you running?
What drive was removed and what was stored on that drive?  I assume that this was a USB external disk drive?  Is this where your Acronis backup files are stored?

To check the disk drive, run a CHKDSK /F against it to check for any errors.

To check your backup images, try to open these in Windows Explorer, or to Mount one and explore the folder structure, or run a Validation for the task that created the backup files.
