Treu Image 2014 and Windows 10

Thread needs solution

Microsoft is starting the Windows 10 App. All my PC are now ready, except 3 mashines. On these 3 PC there is Treu Image 2014 runnig.
Is it necessary to uninstall Acronis to upgrade Microsoft?
Is True Image 2014 after the Windows upgrade still working?

Hi DrEJ,
we cannot guarantee correct work of Acronis True Image 2014 on Windows 10 system.
I would recommend uninstalling the program and use a bootable media to back up those machines.
You might also want to consider an upgrade to Acronis True Image 2016 once it is released or to Acronis True Image 2015. Please note that basic Windows 10 support will be implemented in Acronis True Image 2015 only after next update.

Thank you,

Acronis True Image 14 is working fine on my Windows 10 installation. Did not need a fresh install

PS have done two separate disk image restores successfully.

I did A totaly sucessful image of Win. 10 using TI13 and restored it into another partition along with making a emergancy DVD.

This after a lot of work using different ways which were unsucessful, even the Win. backup and restore. A stroke of luck?

I upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7 and ATI 2014 runs fine. I have run backups and restores. It appears to run the same as it did in Win 7 however I haven't used any of the other functions of Acronis such as cloning.

While I was messing around with the Windows 10 I did use their cloning process on another SSD with no problems. Just tested the cloned SSD once and have not needed it since.
