True Home Image 2011 has serious problems!!!

Thread needs solution

I am having so many problems with 2011 I am wondering why I purchased it. I have not been unable to create incremental backups to save my life. Even choosing a single version chain doesn't seem to work. I get an out of space message as soon as the back up starts. This is very frustrating. The only reason I upgraded is because I just purchased a new system with an SSD drive for a boot volume and I know that the newer version stands the best chance of supporting this disk.

Also, why am I not able to uninstall the product without the use of a "special utility". This is just crazy talk. I am opening a support ticket tomorrow, which I will be outlining on this thread as things progress.

Stay tuned.

Richard,
A normal uninstall from the Add/remove option will suffice in most instances unless you want to remove all traces or as much as possible. The cleanup utility is not necessary in all instances.

Depending upon what you are trying to achieve in backup retention, this illustration works for me in both incremental or differential backups. Remember a backup sets begins with a full backup and the best full backup to have is the one where you click the disk as to the option to be backed up. Have a disk backup will include all partitions on the system disk and makes transition to another disk much easier--should you have an need.
