True image 11 errors Failed to Initalize the Computer snap shot manager, does not regconize drives

Thread needs solution

I upgraded to True Image Home 2011 and it does not run properly. I get a failed to open initialize the computer snap shot manager tag OXBD28FDBD64EDB8BC ERROR. Also, does not recognize my hard drives...I am 75 years old and not into doing registry hacks to fix a flawed product. This product is flawed on release to the public to purchase. Where is the support from Acronis on this?

Also, it has deleted my built in Win7 backup program as I can not access that. I have uninstalled and installed it several times to no avail..

I am using Win7 Home Premium 64 bit, a Dell Studio XPS 8 gigs memory, I7-920 chip set.

Please help.

Thanks

Ted

This software i a piece of crap with all of the problems, and, no fixes. How do I get my money back? I will never buy another Acronis one of Acronis back up programs again.. Just to flawed, and too many bugs. I am using Bounce Back now. Works like a charm, and less money.

Ted,

When you say you upgraded from what product/version?

It sounds as though there is something stopping the low level driver installing properly.

To recieve either support or a refund you need to log into your account and then select the contact button and go from there.

I was upgrading from version 10...

Is that v10 or 2010? If v10 what build?
