True Image 2009 doenst "see" OZC SSD Drive for restoring ??
Hello,
I have 3 harddrives on my Windows 7 System.
1: OZC SSD 64 GB
2: SATA-2 WD 500 GB
3: SATA-2 Seagate 500 GB
Tried to restore Win7 System on my Drive 1 (OZC SSD) with Acronis True Image 2009.
The image files are stored on Drive 2 (Western Digital SATA 2).
I booted with the Acronis Boot CD and selected restore drives. Also selected the image file from the SATA Drive.
I can not select Drive 1 (/OZC SSD) for the location for the restore drive. This drive simply doesn’t show up on Acronis.
Booted up with Hirens Live CD and the drive with the partition is there.
How can I get my System resored on the OZC SSD drive ? Why doesn’t Acronis 2009 “see” my SDD Drive ?
Do I need a newer Acronis True Image Version than 2009 ?
rgards, Tom

Tom,
Why don't you give the 2013 trial a try. Be sure to un-install 2009 before installing the 2013 trial. The 2013 version should be able to restore your 2009 version .tib files. As the 2009 Acronis Boot CD was manufactured/produced several years ago, hardware support for newer system/drives is limited. Only a trial of 2013 will determine if your hardware/drive is supported.

I dunno that ATI2009 works with W7, but I hafta ask: has it ever worked before? You DID test it when you made your first backup, yes?

Tom,
Request the 2013 trial, wait for the serial number through email, register this serial number on Acronis.com, download the 2013 bootable ISO, burn is as an ISO to a CD and use this CD to recovery your 2009 image.
