True Image 2009 mocks about damaged inode

Thread needs solution

Hello all,
I planned to make images of both my Windows and Linux (ext3) partitions. However, I do experience problems with one of the ext3 systems: TI 2009 keeps complaining about a damaged inode ("Inode beschädigt"). Of course, I already did an fsck, also an additional one with "-c", but things didn't change.
Anybody an idea?

Thanks,
Wolfgang

Wolfgang:

Is your ext3 partition inode-128 or inode-256?

Inode-256 is used on recent Linux distributions but TI did not support it until recently. According to a forum search, support for inode-256 was added in TI 2009 build 9709 (the German build number will be different). Are you using the latest available build of TI 2009?

Thank you Mark,
I indeed have an ext3 partition with inode-256 and a TI 2009 with build 9.608. The newest 9.809 works well!
