True Image 2013 Aborting

Thread needs solution

Windows 7 keeps kicking me out of the program. Can't find the install files. Can I download the "Try Before Buying" file and enter my authorization code?

Restart the downloded installation file and do a reinstall.
A repair option will appear which will overwrite your 2013 installation.

If that does not work, then do a complete uninstall and reinstall using the same download program.

The problem is I can't find the installation file (for reasons too involved to detail here) and I'm past the download period of my subscription. My question is--can I download the trial software and just add my serial number when I reinstall

I bought today acronis true image home 2012. Activation succesfully. BUT: when I want to start Acronis, I get the message that I only can use "restore" and NO other tools. I also get the message that I have to activate (nevertheless I get a confirmation that I activated succesfully !).

Not sure of your situation. The program will not work if two different vesions of TrueImage installed.
Run the cleanup (link 4 below) utility and peform a new install.

When performing the install, you will need to input the 64 character license, or alternately, if product already installed, the serial can be input into the installed version if not inputed earlier.

Usualy a function restrictions happens when the serial number has not been input and the version is still considered to be a trial or non-registered version.

Also, don't forget to go onto the Acronis website and register your 64 character serial.
Link 9 also below on registration.

It is also possible you inputed the tiral key rather than the purchase key and all that is needed is for the purchase key to be input into the installation.
