True image 2013 - bootable CD not working

Thread needs solution

Dear ...

Bought a few days before True image 2014 a 2013-version of Acronis True version 2013. I feel scammed a little bit but this aside ...

I wanted to make a recovery disk to start up my Windows Vista if not properly working.

I tell you what I did ... as I use a Ditch version my translation may be not fully literally ...

1) I opened True Image 2013. No problem.

2) I choose backup and recovery.

3) I choose making boot-able media.

4) Then I clicked both True Image and Disk Director Suite (I have both products).

5) No parameters for the next window.

6) Then choose to make a disk (I also made an ISO-file bit that did not change the end-result).

7) I burned the disk.

8) I started up from the disk.

9) It's saying something about acronis loader.

10) Thers pops up a menu with True Image and Acronis system report and many more.

11) Now it comes ... all the menus when clicked gave the same result ....
A window full of garbadge scrolling endless and endless.

So I ruined already a lot of CD's.

How to fix this?

Thanks for help.

On the create bootable menu, instead of choosing the CD, choose the create iso file.
Once the file is created, then you can burn that file onto a CD.

If using win7, right click on the new iso file and choose open with Windows disk image burner.
if using XP, then download the free IMGBurn and use that program to burn the CD.

If all the above fails, then try downloading the iso file from your Acronis account page and use the preceding methods to burn the CD.
