True Image 2013 deleted my Lenovo Bios. I can't go into bios.

Thread needs solution

I buy a new Lenovo Z580 laptop this week.

My config is: I5 3210 CPU, Nvidia GT635M Graphics, 500 GB Seagate Momentus Thin 5400 HDD, 6 GB DDR3 Ram,Windows 8 OS.

My BIOS VERSION IS: 5FCN91WW
All the drivers and windows are updated.

I installed the latest version of Acronis True Image 2013. I mounted my SSD disk to USB 2.0 enclosure and attach to my PC. I started to clone my original disk to my 120 gb SSD disk. I select destination and target disk and automatic clone setting. After 20 seconds it restarts my computer and there is "ACCESS DENIED" error in startup. When I press any button, it continue to Windows 8.
After that I can't enter the bios. I can't change boot order or anything.
I tried and read all of the solutions. There are many people who face this problem. Before cloning everything is normal.

1)When I press NOVO (Lenovo's recovery button near the power button) and "enter bios", computer go on windows.
2)I press repeatedly F2, F1, FN+F2, DEL, B , F10, F12. nothing happens, computer go on windows.
3)I changed UEFI settings from windows and restart, tried everything, but nothing happens. Computer go on windows.
4)I tried to clear CMOS by detaching the battery and power, pressing the power button for 30 seconds. nothing happens.
5) I download the secure boot patch of Acronis True Image 2013. Soonly i pass the access denied error in startup but can't go on bios or change boot order anyway after that.
6)I called Lenovo service. I don't say anything about using acronis. Service support remote controlled my pc and try to fix the bios problem but nothing changed. i have the latest bios version, they try to downgrade my bios but couldn't.

The bios locks everything. I can't change anything.

Acronis software engineers please fix this problem. many customers face this problem.

In addition to this when I download and apply the patch secure boot. The cloning is complete succesfully and it shutdown my computer automatically. Then I changed my main disk to ssd. I started the computer. There comes a blue screen error an always restart computer,blue,restart.......go on repetadly.

I didn't do anything wrongly but why all this happens???

Did you enable the Acronis Recovery Manager or a Secure Zone?

What is the BSOD error number?

As you only purchased the software in the last 7 days, I suggest raising a support ticket with Acronis immediately via their support page.

I can't see under normal circumstances what the UEFI firmware could find that would cause it to add something strange into the booting sequence unless ARM or SZ were activated.

Is your UEFI setup as 'dual' type, that is BIOS or UEFI?

What happens if you put the original drive back into the laptop?

Cloning needs to be done from outside Windows (on OS drives), that is using the recovery CD. Did you make sure that only one drive was working when you rebooted after the clone?

I only did what I said.

I didn't enabled acronis recovery manager or secure zone.

I couldn't see BSOD error number because it appears half a second and restart again, i couldn't pause and see the error number. I tried a lot.

After using acronis 2013 clone, I can't go in bios or boot order anyway. It changed something on bios or startup but I don't know. When I looked from windows startup order, i see acronis loader because every time when i start the computer it says access denied error. When I use the patch, it dissappears.

My bios is UEFI. I use Windows 8. I purchased the computer last week which is Lenovo Z580 laptop. I updated windows and at first installed acronis to clone my original drive to SSD drive.

When I put original drive, everything is normal. There is no blue screen. Windows starts. But bios problem is same, deleted somehow. I can't change anything at startup.

When I press the NOVO(It's lenovo's recovery button in keyboard near power button, you press it when the computer is shutdown)
computer starts and there become a screen. 1)normal startup 2) bios setup 3) boot order 4)recovery. Only 1 and 4 works.

Yes only one drive was working after cloning. I tried all of the alternative but i have done nothing wrong.
In forums there are people who face that problem about bios. Please search and fix this problem.
