True Image 2013 Install Key Issue
I purchased True Image 2013 on Jan 19, 2013 and have been using it up until recently. I recently had to reformat my PC and tried to re-install True Image 2013 but the key is not accepted. It says it's an upgrade key and requires the original. The only other version of Acronis True Image I've used is the 2013 trial version but I don't have that key anymore. So how do I reinstall?

Never owned an ATI product before purchasing 2013 last January besides the Trial version.

Use my signature link 9 as guide and get a copy of your serial number again and download the last version of 2013 here as well.
Copy and paste the serial number into the installed version.

Thanks but that doesn't help. The only key listed under my account is for True Image 2013 Upgrade. As I mentioned in the first post, it's asking me for the key from the "previous" version but I've never owned a previous version of ATI so I don't know what to do. When my 2013 trial expired it asked me to purchase the full version which is what I did, why did it give me an upgrade key and not a full version one?
The frustrating thing is that since it's been over a year, I can't even contact Acronis support anymore , all options are grayed out except posting in the community.

One thought.
Did you install the 2013 on top of a seagate or WD version of TrueImage?
If yes, then you will need to reinstall the vendor version before the upgrade will work.

Hmm, good question. I may have had the WD version installed at one point. Problem is I don't have any WD drives in this system currently (all SSD) so it won't let me install it. I'll try borrowing one from another system. Thanks for the suggestion.

Sorry forget to update this thread. I installed WD ATI and then installed 2013 on top of it, worked with the upgrade key. Thanks!
