True Image 2014 with F11 and Windows 8

Thread needs solution

HI,

I have an old copy of Acronis True Image 2011 and normally I activate the F11 so I can restore easily before Windows login.

When I install it to my brand new computer with Windows 8, I don't see the F11 anymore.

Is this normal or it is not suppose to be happening or compatible with Win 8?
or what is/are the trick to make it happening?

If it is not compatible with Windows 8, I am just wondering if I buy True Image 2014 or Premium, does it has F11 and working with Windows 8?

or is there any features in 2014 that has similar so I can go to Acronis before the Windows login screen?

Please let me know and thank you for your help.

After further research, looks like TI 2011 is not compatible with Windows 8.

So if you own True Image 2014 and or premium edition, could you please let me know whether or not do you see Acronis Start up recovery manager?
I am guessing under tool option.

Once you activated then after you restart your computer, do you see Acronis option before the Windows 8 log on to press F11 to start the recovery manager?

Please let me know and thank you for your help.

Windows 8.1. Acronis 2014 Premium. Tools & Utilities > Protection Tools > Acronis Startup Recovery Manager is where the F11 option can be activated or not.
