True Image 2014 questions for a real newbie

Thread needs solution

I'm sorry if these are basic questions but backup software is completely new to me.

I have TI2014 installed and did a successful backup to my external HD. It's there and easy to navigate through and find my things. Great!

I am as I type doing a cloud backup but has days before it will be done. I'm worried that at some point a power failure or a random grandchild will come in and turn off my computer!
If so will it restart from the beginning or just resume where left off after a restart?

Also, when this is done I will make a bootable disc but I have Windows 8.1, 64bit.
Am I going to have trouble creating a disc? I tried to read and understand the sticky about 64 bit but it is way above my knowledge base and I am hoping I won't have to venture there to create the disc!

I appreciate any help I may receive and apologize for my current lack of knowledge.

If you already have a successful backup to your EHD and it has been validated don't wait to build the bootable CD. You can download the ISO file from your Acronis account and burn it as an image file to a CD/DVD. I don't use the cloud features so I can't answer that question.

Thanks. I suppose I should wait to do any of this until the extremely long upload finishes to my Acronis cloud?
I was hoping the bootable CD "tool" in the software would walk me through it. I don't even know what an ISO file is but I will google that now!

Validating the EHD backup should wait until the cloud back up is completed?

Im kinda new to true image, I have used it on laptops running windows 7, I think my big question is will TI run on Windows Server 2008 datacenter? Thanx
