True Image 2014 - Recover Office 2010 on Win 7 (64 bit)

Thread needs solution

The install level is 6673. The disk drive on my Dell Inspiron 15R laptop with Win 7 (64) failed and failed fast and hard. I bought True Image 2014 (retail vendor should have stocked 2015) in an attempt to save the data and recover the system. This is when I found out Dell will not provide the COAs for Win7 on the PC like I thought they should.

To recover I bought and installed a new copy of Win 7 after installing a new disk drive. The PC is up and running except for Office 2010. I have the COA and don't want to purchase a new copy of a product I legally own. I'm pissed Microsoft and Dell's policies put me in the position I had to buy another copy of Windows. (The image level backups had 14,280 sector errors so didn't trust those backups to recover Windows)

Can I recover Office 2010 by using Acronis 2014 to restore the Office folders from the Program Files, Programs Files (X86) and Program Files folders?

Thanks,

Bill

Only user data can be recovered. You can recover the program files and folders but the program will not run because it needs to be installed in Windows. If you can locate the install file, recover it, run that file in the Windows environment then, recover user data you can end getting everything back.
