True Image 9 won't let me restore individual folders

I have a backup that has folders from 3 different disk drives. One of the drives stopped working so I ran the restore program. I only selected the drive that was bad and had it go to a new location. Despite the fact that the other 2 drives were not selected, it started filling up the new drive with data from them. If I selected a subfolder, it would do just that subfolder, but I need the whole drive and it won't do it without filling up the drive with the data from the other drives. what is going on?
