The Synchronization feature does not work on Windows 8.1 Enterprise Edition. Every time I try to create the New Synce I get a connection error (see attachment) with the following errorcode: Event code: 0x019203EA+0x01E7000A+0x01E70011+0x01E70007. I was getting the same error with TI2013 as well.

Hi Expert,
I have installed Acronis { Acronis Backup Advanced ( Version 11.5 Update 5) Acronis Backup Management Console ( Build 11.5.38929 ) } on Windows 8.1 OS. additionally i have installed the below mentioned components for backup and recovery. Please find the components details below.
1. Acronis Backup 11.5 Agent Core
2. Acronis Backup 11.5 Agent for Windows
3. Acronis Backup 11.5 Management Console
4. Acronis License Server
After successfully installing all the above mentioned components i try to add this Windows 8.1 machine into AMS.
While adding a machine into AMS the management server is able to detect the agent and displays the message as " READY TO ADD".
But after that i am getting below error.
Module: mms_vs_38929
Message: User 'user1@WINDOWS8' does not have enough privileges to establish a trust relationship. The machine must be a domain member or User Account Control (UAC) must be disabled on the machine.
Note: The in the Windows 8.1 UAC has been set to never notify.
Kindly provide your suggestion .
Thanks
Arumuga Raj

Arumuga Raj,
Check to see if your user name is listed under Backup Operators group. Check also that there is an Acronis Centralized Admins and Acronis Remote Users group under Computer Managment.
As well as an Acronis User there should also be which ever users you require to access AB11.5 entered into these groups.

Just to throw a little spice into the mix.... I am running an early version of ATIH 2010 Build 6053 and it is running perfectly on Windows 8.1 apart from creating an empty folder on my PC called "My Backups".
My problems arise when I try to install the current build of ATIH 2010 (I think it's #7160) and get a compatabilty error, #7160 will not install.
So, do I stay with ATIH 2010 #6053 and delete an empty folder or go for ATIH 2014 or ATIH 2015???

Build 7160, Mike, has been hard coded to not install on W8.1. This is due to problems with SNAPAPI for some systems.

Hello Colin, thanks for replying.
....what exactly is "hard coding" and is there a way around the problem with SNAPAPI, whatever that is?
Best wishes, Mike

Hard coding is that the application install instruction code is written to not install on a system running Win 8, 8.1. Attempted installs result in the not compatible error.
Snapapi is a driver module responsible for creating the snapshot of a specified backup task which the application then uses to write the backup file.
No, there is no way around these issues.
