True Image Echo Server OS Compatibility

Thread needs solution

I have an older version of Acronis and can't seem to find information about it on the website.

I was wondering what the support operating systems are for Acronis True Image Echo Server with Acronis Universal Resore (build 8,115)

True Image Echo™ Server for Linux

Hello Delroy,

Thank you for using [[http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/ | Acronis Corporate Products]]

You are unable to make Acronis True Image Echo Server compatible with Linux operating systems. You should use another products.

Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Server for Linux Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Advanced Server Virtual Edition and Acronis Backup & Recovery™ 10 Advanced Server are the next generation of the Acronis True Image family for physical and virtual environments.

These versions support Linux kernel 2.4.20 and above (including 2.6).

Thank you.

Hello,

is it possible to run Acronis True Image Echo Server on Windows Server 2008 R2 x64?

Kind Regards
stm

I recently bought Acronis True Image 2010 for our company to image Windows 2000 professional SP4, Windows 2000 server and XP SP3 PC's.
The software has worked well with the XP machines but the software won't install on the Windows 2000 machines. The following error is displayed when I try to install on the Windows 2000 PC's;
The procedure entry point SetFileShortNameW could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll

Have anyone encountered this error and can Acronis True Image 2010 be installed on a Windows 2000 machine?

No, it can't - Windows 2000 is not in compatible OS list. True Image 11 (from year 2007) was the last True Image to support Windows 2000. You may use instead Acronis Backup 11.5 - current version is compatible, or perform backup from bootable media.
