True Image hangs while exploring an archive

Thread needs solution

I just installed 2012 and already ran into trouble. When I right-click an archive and choose "Explore and recover", a window pops up showing "Available for recovery:" and then "Loading..." indefinitely. I checked the True Image process and there's no CPU, disk, or memory activity, so it doesn't appear to be loading anything. If I close the window then the main window hangs until I kill it. I'm able to view the archive via Explorer (though the shell extension crashed explorer.exe twice).

I have the exactly same problem. ATI 2012 Home CZ Build #6151 on Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit. The function “Explore and recover” is unusable and after closing this window the main window hangs. I found the newer Build #6154, but this is only UK version. I suppose that my license key is valid only for CZ version.

I'm already using Build 6154, so if it's an Acronis bug then it doesn't appear to be fixed yet.

Hello Quatrix and Milan,

Thank you for your comments.

It is not possible to say for sure what causes this issue. I would recommend to contact our Support team with the following diagnostic information:

1. Acronis System report.

2. Userdump.

Milan, you can install the UK build with the Chech serial number that you have, our latest versions allow that.

I am terribly sorry for any inconvenience and if you need additional help, please let me know.

Thank you.

Hello Anton,

Thank you very much for your reply. I will collect the requested diagnostic information and contact your Support.
