True Image Home 2009 and Sata Drives

Thread needs solution

I having problems backing up Sata Drives to an external Sata Drive. Especially C: Drive
Finally, changed the external drive updated the SNAPAPI Driver. Deleted all the temp files, Changed compression to none.
Backup failed in the last 10 minutes.
Is there an issue with True Image Home 2009 and Sata drives?

Well, some hardware will the prog more trouble than others. But this could a diff prob. Are you trying to backup from within Win or from the BootCD? whichever you are doing, try using the other. This can help narrow down the prob to one installation or the other. If it turns out to be a bootCD prob, then you might need to burn a fresh bootcd or get a diff iso from Acronis that has diff drivers.

If its not the bootCD, then it could be the installtion on Win and an uninstall/install, using msconfig to remove all non-ms services and all start upprogs first might be all you need to do.

You may have to upgrade to Ver 2010.
Build 5055 (the latest is now 6053) works on my Win 7 64 bit Quad core system and with eSata devices connected. Backup and Restore work both from within Windows and via the Rescue CD.
