True Image Home 2010 does not restore folder timestamps correctly

Thread needs solution

I can't seem to recover folders with the correct time stamps. The recovered folders are using the current date and time, even when I make sure that "Set current date and time for recovered files" is unselected. I am recovering from a partition image. I've done several tests and at one time, I did manage to get the upper folders to have the original dates, but the subfolders had the current dates. Not sure what I did to at least get the original dates on the upper folders.

I noticed also that if you open the partition image in explorer, it only shows one date, whereas windows has date modified and date created.

I've been searching the forum and I found this post:

"2805: Recovery of Folders Sets the Current Timestamp Instead of the Original One"

However, this one specifically states the problem is with True Image Home 2009 and it is fixed in 2010. It would seem that it isn't fixed in 2010, unless I'm missing something.

I have the latest build for 2010 (7,046).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,
Bernie

Hello Bernard!

I’ve carefully checked our internal resources and found no known issue that would match your description. The only possible reason of the issue I can think about is the installation over the previous product version, which caused the mess in the drivers and lead to the issue being reproduced.

Anyway, the problem requires investigation. Please gather

  1. Exact sequence of steps performed
  2. Acronis Info
