I used Ti successfully in November to replace a Hard Drive. However, the new drive failed and I had to re-install the old drive. I have now received a second hard drive and I'm trying to repeat the process.

The system is an old HP laptop with a USB external drive for backup. Running XP Sp3.

I first tried an incremental back up and got a failed to initialize error. I tried deleting the back up and starting with a new one, same again. Repairing the installation, deleting re-booting and re-installing TI all with no joy. I'm still getting TrueImageHome Notify.exe failed to initialize (0xc0000142) all the time.

So I'm out of clues for what to do next. Can anyone help?

You may try http://support.microsoft.com/kb/950312 ,
apply solution regarding SharedSection parameter from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/824422
then temporary disable antivirus. If it doesn't help, I'd contact support.
