Try and Decide removed my boot manager
Long time user and believer in ATI, currently using ATIH 2013 and thought I'd see how well Try and Decide worked. I use Grub4DOS as boot manager for a multi-OS system and for booting bootable ISOs stored on the HDD.
I launched T&D from Win 8 Pro and it did what was expected of it until I rebooted after discarding all changes. On that boot I would normally be presented with my Grub4DOS boot menu, but that did not appear and the machine rebooted straight into Win 8. A bit more testing established that Grub4DOS had been removed and Windows BCD now had control of the boot process so it's clear that T&D does not function correctly when a non-Microsoft boot manager is in place. Would be interested to hear what happens when a Microsoft dual boot is in place. Does that survive?
