Trying to restore single file: Queued and then nothing

Thread needs solution

I'm been using Acronis for years and now it's just quirky. I did a full backup and I am "testing" it as usual by trying to restore a small single file to see if the backup is clean.

I selected the file and the destination and when I hit the "Recover" button the "Recovery Progress" dialogue box pops up as usual. Except rather than doing the restore in a few seconds it says "Queued" and then does absolutely nothing.

Any advice?

Are you trying restore from within windows? My first step would be to restart machine and try again.
If this is from the BootCD, then I'd try the restore from within Win to see if it works.
