Two PC's are overwriting each others .tib files

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I have True Image 2012 Home Plus. I haven't had any issues until the other day. I have three PC's running Acronis. Two of my PC's are backing up to the same file and overwriting each other. They use to be named AlexPC.tib and SparePC.tib but are now both writing to OS_(C).tib or something similar. I'm not sure what happened or why. How can I manually tell Acronis to name the .tib file? I havn't seen a option like that. I would really appreciate some help. Thank you in advance.

1. Create a new task for each computer.
2. Each computer should have its own individual backup storage folder or at least its own storage sub-folder.
3. No mixing of backup files into the same folder.
4. Click on signature link #2 below which illustrates how to create the tasks and task/backup file naming.
5. The editing of a backup task is not recommended as the results may not be what the user is expecting. If editing needed, create a new backup task with its own folder or sub-folder.

Thank you GroverH. I guess that's one way to remedy the problem. I ended up deleting the task and *tib files and creating a new task. For some reason it remedied the naming of the *tib file. I'm going to make sub folders like you suggested for organizational purposes. I appreciate your help s lot. Thank you.
