Unable to backup (incremental)

Thread needs solution

Hi,
Since I've upgraded to 2013, I can't backup a folder. I destroy the previous task and create a new one (incremental backup) : same result.
I get the message :
Une erreur s'est produite lors de la sauvegarde. (0x40019) -> An error occured during backup
Tag = 0xCE542E14DA203B82
Le fichier spécifié n'existe pas. (0x40011) -> The file doesn't exist
Tag = 0x497A70FDD71A3FC1

I believe that ATI is not able to create the .tib file. I tested, I can create manually a file into the folder, no problem for rights/size.

What is strange is that some upgraded tasks (exist from v2012) are running correctly.

Another reccurent bug : if email account (using SMTP) has no user+password, I can't save and close the settings dialog. But I should not use user+password. The bug was in ATI2011 in the beginning, but has been corrected since. And comes back with ATI 2012, then corrected, and comes back with 2013...Grrr

Greetings,

In general when problems such as these occur, it's normally recommended that you perform a fresh install of the product. I'd suggest making a full disk image back up before proceeding. You may also export those tasks you do not want to recreate.

Uninstall the product:

This may involve disabling windows integration and/or the Start up/Recovery Manager first. Use the Add/Remove Programs or Programs and Features applet. Also remove the Plus Pack if installed. Now use the clean up utility to remove any remnants of the install, files or registry entries from previous version upgrades. Be sure you follow the instructions for the utility completely. Now install the latest build of the version you have license for straight away (without multiple upgrades).

You can reimport tasks you may have exported previously.  Note: if you have any reason to believe one or more of these tasks is having problems, I'd recreate them from scratch instead of possibly reintroducing an existing problem.
