Unable to clone boot disk using TI 2012

Thread needs solution

I am attempting to clone an Intel 240GB SSD boot drive to a Samsung 240GB SSD. I have the source drive mounted in an external bay, the destination Samsung disk loaded in the notebook computer's drive bay. I am running TI 2012 from a rescue disk in an internal CD-DVD reader. The operation begins then terminates fairly quickly. Here's a log:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>

Run list corrupted (0x7001C)
Tag = 0x89D94B01B483DCE9</indent>" module="1" time="1385530277">

It looks like the error is "run list corrupted", whatever that means. I'd appreciate any help.

Repeat the process.
Start from booting the CD and then use the "Add new disk" option.
This will initialize the disk. KNow whether sourec disk is MBR or GPT and choose the same.
The process should finish as all unallocated space.

Choose the manual mode of Clone and choose the manual "AS IS" as the move method.

Hopefully, this will work for you.
You may still need the Windows Recovery Cd and a Startup Repair before you are finished.

Thanks very much for the help. With the same setup as before I added the new disk (had originally done this booted in Windows 7 with the new disk in an external dock using the Windows 7 Disk Management -- re-accomplished with Acronis). However when cloning the disk using "Manual - As IS", the cloning terminates with a Clone Disk operation failed window. The log is attached. I would appreciate any help.

Perhaps you have other issues. Check the source disk (all partitons) for disk errors and repeat the process again using the Add new disk option.

You may need to contact Acronis via the Live chat or support ticket option for additonal help.

Another option would be to try the backup and restore method to create a new disk.
