Unable to mount Image --> BlueScreen

Thread needs solution

Hello everybody!

Following Problem occours on my Laptop:

When I try to mount an image, a STOP-Error comes up and the laptop reboots.

Environment: Windows 8.1 Pro 32 Bit
Latest Acronis True Image update was been installed yesterday

These are the parameters of the STOP-Screen:

BUG CHECK STRING: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
Bug Check Code: 0x0000001e
Parameter #1: 0xc0000005
Parameter #2: 0x89c7e4f1
Parameter #3: 0x00000000
Parameter #4: 0x00000008
Caused by Driver: tib_mounter.sys
At Address: tib_mounter.sys+104f1
File Version: 4.3.0.2138

What to do?

My first idea was to disable UAC, but I want to wait for an answer...

Thank you and best regards from Germany

First, check to see if the Acronis mounting services are running. Open a command prompt as administrator. Enter the following lines:

1. net start tib

2. net start tib_mounter

If everything is as it should be, you will see a message returned stating the requested service has already been started. If you get a different response, please post back.

Did you let TI install the new build over the existing build? Where you able to mount an image with the previous build?
