Undoing a restore??

Thread needs solution

Dear Sirs/Madames

Presumably there is no way of undoing a restore.

Regrettably restored a backup of my Outlook file which was some 2 months old to its 'original location' with the consequence that I have now lost all my recent emails!

Yours hopefully!!

If you have a more recent backup of that file, then restore or copy that one. Otherwise, no. This is why you should perform backups more often than every two months.

If you have a disk or partition backup that is more recent, you could restore it from that.
