Hi there,
Revo does not find Acronics True Image Home 2010 and neither does Your Uninstaller.

I am using Windows 7 and when I go to All Programs, Acronics True Image Home ther is no way to uninstall.

Does Windows 7 have an Add or Remove Programs screen or a similar name?

Hello all,

Oleg,
Do you know of any reason why I cannot access the article for which you provided a link in your posting above? I need to know how to completely uninstall two different versions of True Image Home and wish to go back and use Acronis True Image 11 (not 2011). I seem to be unable to do this without completely uninstall all other versions in my system.
Whenever I try to access the article, I receive this error message: Access Denied; You are not authorized to access this page.
Am I correct on my assessment or is there a way to use one specific version of True Image without uninstalling other True Image versions currently installed?
Please help.

LinYu,
The link is no longer valid as that particular cleanup utility has been removed due to a variety of conflicts. Another cleanup utility is being created and being tested. Maybe the support personnel will see this posting and supply you with a new temporary link.

Grover,
You again, for the rescue!... Thank you, indeed. In fact, thanks to your kind alert, I did a little more research and found this:
http://forum.acronis.com/forum/5555
The detailed instructions from Ilya, one of the Acronis Moderators, in that thread (check for his reply on 2010-02-16 at 11:28) saved my day.
Actually, I took a printout of his post and followed it step by step. I must state that I could not (and did not) find and/or download the two components he lists (DevCon and Msisap.exe) and, as it turned out, I did not need them. So, basically, after following his link and printing the "Removing Acronis Backup Archive Explorer", I started at step 1 of his instructions, by downloading and running the Acronis Clean-up Utility.
Then, as I followed the instructions while running the Clean-up Utility and, at the same time, looking at the steps included in the above mentioned link from Ilya's post, I just took extra, extra, extra care when it came down to manually editing or deleting the identified registers.
End result? It paid off, I succeeded. I found all Acronis products were gone, except for the shortcuts, which I deleted manually.
My last step was then to download and reinstall the Acronis version I want to keep using, at least for the time being. And if it comes down to it again, now I know how to get rid of these otherwise stubbornly "uninstallable" pieces of art...
To wrap it all out, I created new bootable media, did a fresh image backup of my whole system, and restored it. And here I am, working nice and smoothly after all the troubles...
Once again, many thanks to Ilya, who had already rescued me in the past, at least on one occasion, and many thanks to you for your continued help and your quite timely advice on this instance.
Cheers.
