Universal Restore (Restore to Disparate Hardware) with same SSD
I have two SSD drives in my current Win7 computer.
One has my data and can be used as is.
The other has two partitions.
First partition has OS and programs.
Second partition has E-mail files from Thunderbird (very small partition)
I have built a new computer in which I plan to use these old SSD drives.
What is the best procedure for using Universal Restore (restore to disparate hardware) in this situation?
Can I just restore the OS partition?
Or should I wipe out the OS Partition first, wipe the two partitions and restore both, or what?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you Pat,
So I don't need to delete anything, just do the backup, put the disks in the new computer and restore the C partition with Universal restore. Great.

Yes, that should work. Worst case, if it doesn't, you can first use "add new disk", before the restore. This will blank out your SSD, Then you would restore C:\ only, then you would restore the other partition, and finally the MBR+Track0.
ONe thing to watch for is the type of BIOS setting you have. Make sure both computers are either using BIOS or UEFI, but the same.
If your OLD computer is using BIOS with MBR disk, and the new one was setup to use UEFI + GPT, this is a different story.
